Danesgate is a specialist setting for 5-16 year olds with social, emotional and mental health needs. We are seeking to recruit teaching assistant to work in our KS3 classes. Danesgate is a very welcoming and vibrant place to work and offers significant opportunities for professional development for anyone who is committed to working with vulnerable young people. This is an exciting opportunity to work with highly skilled staff in a successful 5-16 age range specialist setting for SEMH and associated SEND. We are looking for someone with the vision, drive and creativity to support us in our journey towards being an Outstanding provision. The successful candidate will be able to contribute to developing the delivery of English within a strong department within this specialist setting. We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about their subject and looking for a post that allows them to use their experience to raise the achievement of vulnerable pupils who have complex needs. We are seeking a practitioner who is creative and inclusive and who can implement activities in this subject and appropriate to the needs of pupils with SEND.
