Twelve year 11 students attended Taster Days at York College on 14th & 16th January. The students gained an insight into the wide variety of courses available at the college including; motor mechanics, electrical installation, bricklaying and hair and beauty.

Jack, Callum, Milly and Ryan all took part in a community based work experience project organised by Volunteer in Youth. The project in Hull Road Park saw the students build new composting bins, and woodland footpaths. The students have developed construction skills in carpentry and health and safety.
