Transition

At Danesgate we are very proud of our Transition work to support pupils who are either starting new with us or are moving classes/years.  We recognise that this change is very hard for anyone to manage and that we need to plan and support each child through this process.  We like to offer every young person an enhanced transition package to ensure that they fully understand Danesgate’s values and approach before they join us for classroom learning. We are also passionate about ensuring that young people feel that they have begun to build secure relationships with a variety of key staff in the school before their journey begins.
