In the academic year 2023/24 Danesgate Community aimed to enhance pupils’ experiences in Physical Education. The enhancement of creating opportunities for all of our pupils through inclusive activities, extra-curricular clubs and our intent to broaden our pupils’ opportunities to participate in a wide range of physical activities. As a department and a school we are very pleased with this Gold Award after previously being a bronze rated school. We very much look forward to further developing the opportunity for our pupils to take part in sport and wish to hold our Gold Award for years to come.
