Careers Fair 2024

We held our annual Employers Fair on Tuesday 12^th March. The event provided an opportunity for students in years 9,10 and 11 to find out about work experience, apprenticeship and career opportunities. Businesses in attendance were; SISK and Wates Construction, Indigo Green Estate Agents, Trans Pennine, GuestHouse Hotels, Portakabin, City Wide Health.

Paul Hunter from GuestHouse Hotels said ‘it has been great to meet so many students at Danesgate today. They have been really interested in finding out about the wide range of careers available in hospitality. Amy Hoskin from SISK stated ‘I’ve spoken with lots of pupils interested in working in the construction industry today. We are now going to arrange a visit so that students can experience a construction site first-hand, and meet some of our current apprenticeships’.
