Following the promotion of our Deputy Head, this is an exciting opportunity for a current Deputy or Assistant Headteacher or aspiring Deputy Headteacher who is committed to providing a first-class education for students, many of whom start their lives a long way behind the starting line.

We are looking for an outstanding educator and senior leader to lead on learning and achievement, to collaborating closely with our Headteacher to develop our successful school to Outstanding. We are a unique community with a diverse group of students with a range of SEND, and need someone who can combine compassion with resilience, and lead with integrity. With a meticulous eye for detail, you must be able to support our staff to deliver quality education to the diverse needs of students and the provision that each individual requires.

We are looking for a new Deputy Headteacher who will:

  • Hold excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for inclusive education
  • Lead with integrity, motivating and inspiring confidence in others, whilst also balancing the high demand of day-to-day operational duties
  • Be a strategic and principled thinker with the resilience, vision and ability to follow-through objectives to completion
  • Have a collaborative approach to leadership and management across a variety of stakeholders, with consideration of staff wellbeing and development
